Rotterdam-based designers Night Shop are repurposing soft urethane foam to 'draw' carpets, using syringes of different colours to create weave-like designs. True to the PATTERNITY philosophy of finding magnificence in the mundane, the design collective are repurposing everyday window sealant in playful ways. They are “keen on investigating the boundaries between good and bad taste” and have explored making lattices and herringbone patterns as well as more abstract and psychedelic forms.
