Celebrating Superga with a Hands-On Workshop

We invited our community to join us for a hands-on pattern workshop exploring different printmaking techniques that visualise the patterns in our collaboration with Superga – Graphic and Flow. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

We begun with a PATTERNITALK by Head of Research Liv Taylor, exploring the concept behind the collaboration. Then, we disconnected from the digital to look up, down and around the city streets with a new perspective from the view at Ace Hotel, taking inspiration from skyscrapers, rail networks and serried windows across the City and translating them into unique block printed artworks. Finally we lost ourselves in moments of flow and learn about the ancient craft of marbling to create magnificent marbled masterpieces, surrendering to the serendipitous process.
