Using natural plants to make homewares
Lengths of sedge, a grass-like plant, are dyed and dried and then woven into mats in Vietnam, a process that is over 200 years old.
Sedge plants have been used as a natural material for household objects for millennia, including the Ancient Egyptian writing papyrus.
